It was a lovely day with light breezes and reasonably warm; the greens are still suffering from the cold weather so were a bit bumpy. The Swifts were off the mark but, courteous as usual, prepared to let others through - easier said than done though, as the next two crispies through proceeded to give an excellent demonstration of military golf spraying shots left and right with gay abandon. The moral of the story is not to let John S and Steve C through perhaps?!.. next through were the road runner, grumpy as usual, and Dusty with a big smile. Winner this week was Oliver Yarde with 39 points from Richard Harman, Harvey Morris and Oliver Dawson. In the crisps were Peter Bettridge, Chris Chetzoy, Steve C, Chris Smith and John S, so that goes to show you military golf is not all its cracked up to be!
